The World Junior Mathematics Championship, hosted in Switzerland

A world maths championship for ages 13 and under.

Seven levels, played online. The top 100 meet in Disentis, Switzerland, October 2027.

How it works

  1. 1RegisterA parent opens the account and holds it. The child plays under an alias with their own login; Euler asks for the year of birth, never a name.
  2. 2Play the levelsSeven levels, Explorer to Genius, each a run of adventures: ten problems a time, almost no words, calculator allowed, openly.
  3. 3Qualify for DisentisThe World Rankings order every player by Level, adventures finished and Accuracy. The top 100 meet for the final in Disentis.
What does it cost?
Registering costs nothing and nothing is sold to a child. Everything that moves the Euler Index or the World Rankings is included for every child, always: all seven Levels, every adventure, Base Camp, recoveries, the practice test priced in Eulos, and what to practise next. A paid plan buys you, the parent, convenience and insight — never your child an advantage.
How does a child qualify for the final?
One hundred qualifiers from across the globe, by three roads: accredited institutions, the seven-level journey played here, and verified nominations. On the seven-level road the World Rankings decide. The full qualifying rules are published on this site before the qualifying rounds open.
Which languages?
English today; German, French and Italian follow. The problems themselves carry almost no words, so the maths is the same in every language.
Who can play?
Children 13 or younger on 31 December 2027 (born on or after 1 January 2014), anywhere in the world. A parent or guardian registers them.
